Sixth Form Enrichment
Students are given the opportunity to undertake various enrichment activities to broaden their horizons and to help with the development of interpersonal skills which are highly valued by employers and universities.
Examples of some of the enrichment opportunities on offer are:
- Duke of Edinburgh Award
- Student Mentoring (academic & pastoral)
- Membership of a sixth form committee (charity, ambassadorial, social, sport)
- Assisting with academy events such as parental consultation evenings
- Sports clubs
- Music, dance and drama clubs
- Study support
During periods when Sixth Formers do not have a timetabled lesson, they have access to the academy fitness centre where they can use state of the art exercise equipment to improve physical health and wellbeing.
