Modern Languages
If you would like to train as a Modern Languages teacher, you can through the National Modern Languages SCITT- a route that privileges subject specific training on the ground, with experienced practitioners.
Charles Read Academy is the lead school for East Midlands and South Lincolnshire Hub of the National Modern Languages SCITT. Applications can be made via Apply for teacher training, by searching for The National Modern Languages SCITT and selecting the East Midlands Hub and South Yorkshire, or the Humber and North Lincolnshire Hub, depending on your area of preference.
The PGCE is awarded by Sheffield Hallam University for MFL trainees qualifying through this route.
